Currently we know frighteningly little about this new ore, or where these creatures are obtaining it from.

The arcanum has been able to get enough samples, to further our research into some of its properties, and I will personally see to it that this journal is updated as more is found about this new ore.

It takes a highly skilled alchemist to combine the fragments of Jollium into enough material to attempt crafting.

It is to note though, that the material even at the Crystal stage is too fragile to work with, it shatters into nothingness. The only material we’ve found it to combine well with is the same that we craft Isparian arms with.

A skilled alchemist can combine a Jollium crystal, and a superb diamond infused pyreal ingot, creating a Diamond infused Jollium ingot, this new alloy is very malleable, but must be crafted with care, if a person will give me the Jollium ingot i will in turn ready the cast for them to attempt craft a piece of armor at the jollium forge.

If the user isn’t sufficient enough in combat defense they may end up breaking the glyph, usually the jollium can be recovered, but in rare cases it fuses with the cast and is lost.

The arcanum has also found that some of the more powerful creatures in the area are carrying around what we refer to as runes, these runes will allow you to become more efficient in attacking, or absorbing damage. The armor seems to only hold a maximum of 3 of one type, and once you have chosen a rating, no other rating can be applied to that piece of armor.

We have also learned a way to change the bonuses that the armor will give towards your combat , defense skills, and even the amount of health you have (set bonuses). These are extremely complicated to make, currently we are exchanging them for 100 unrefined jollium ore to our Quartermaster, Unrefined jollium ore tends to drop from almost every mob in this arctic north.
As we continue studies more items may be able to be made from Jollium, it all is just a matter of time , as research continues.

Update 1: JOLLIUM WEAPONS

We have furthered our research thanks to adventurers donating more and more jollium, we have found that using the heart of a diamond golem, we can combine the heart with a skill glph to form Casts to forge weapons.

IE: a diamond heart used on a Void glyph will create a Void staff Cast.

a highly skilled alchemist is needed to smelt the jollium into a pourable state.
They would need to first put the Jollium Ingot into a crucible, then the alchemist would need to use the jollium filled crucible on the Jollium Forge.
with sufficient skill they should be able to make Molten Jollium, Pour that into your cast. With sufficient skill in your weapon of choice, you should be able to create a jollium weapon.
